The arrival of six south-western states of Nigeria kept Ibadan green on 6th October, 2016. The event which was themed Achieving an Agro-Powered Regional Economy was held at the prestigious civic centre. It was graced by elites and agribusiness stakeholders from respective institutions ranging from Dr. Doyin Salami, the oyo state commissioner for finance and budget and directors from different agricultural concerns.

The purpose of the meeting is to integrate the core-competence of the region for the food sustainability of Africa and the world at large. The event also featured how the enhancement of farmers’ productivity can boost economic growth.
